This itinerary is designed to give you a comprehensive tour of the most popular destinations in Kashmir: Srinagar, Gulmarg, and Pahalgam. The cab rates are an estimate for a private vehicle for the entire 3-day package, covering all sightseeing and inter-city travel.

Estimated 3-Day Cab Package Rates (for Srinagar-Gulmarg-Pahalgam circuit):

Sedan (Etios/Dzire): ₹7,800 - ₹10,500

Important Note on Cab Rates:

The rates mentioned are for a dedicated car for the entire trip and are subject to change based on the tourist season (peak season rates are higher).

For sightseeing within Pahalgam (Aru, Betaab, Chandanwari), the local taxi union has a fixed rate, and you cannot use your pre-booked cab.

It's highly recommended to book your cab package from a reputable tour operator to ensure a smooth and hassle-free trip.

Srinagar, Pahalgam and Gulmarg Tour Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival in Srinagar & Local Sightseeing

Morning:

Arrival at Srinagar Airport: A pre-booked cab will pick you up from the airport.

Transfer & Check-in: Transfer to your hotel or a traditional houseboat on Dal Lake. Check in and relax for a bit.

Afternoon:

Mughal Gardens Tour: After lunch, your cab will take you for a tour of the famous Mughal Gardens.

Nishat Bagh: Known as the "Garden of Joy," it's a terraced garden with stunning views of the Zabarwan Mountains and Dal Lake.

Shalimar Bagh: The "Abode of Love" is the largest and most famous of the Mughal gardens.

Chashme Shahi: A smaller, royal spring garden with beautiful views.

Evening:

Shikara Ride: Enjoy a serene and iconic Shikara ride on Dal Lake. You can also visit the floating gardens and markets.

Overnight Stay: Return to your hotel or houseboat for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2

Day Trip to Gulmarg

Morning:

Breakfast & Drive to Gulmarg: After an early breakfast, you will embark on a day trip to Gulmarg, also known as the "Meadow of Flowers." The drive is scenic, passing through lush green landscapes and pine forests.

Afternoon:

Gulmarg Sightseeing & Gondola Ride: Upon arrival in Gulmarg, you can take a pony ride to the Gondola cable car station.

Gondola Ride: Take the Gondola (cable car) ride, which is a must-do activity. It's one of the highest cable cars in the world. Phase 1 takes you to Kongdori Station, while Phase 2 goes to Apharwat Peak, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the Himalayas.

Note: The Gondola ride fare is not included in the cab package and must be purchased separately.

Evening:

Return to Srinagar: Drive back to Srinagar in the evening.

Overnight Stay: Dinner and overnight stay at your hotel or houseboat in Srinagar.

Day 3

Day Trip to Pahalgam & Departure

Morning:

Breakfast & Drive to Pahalgam: After breakfast, check out from your hotel and head towards Pahalgam, the "Valley of Shepherds." The route is picturesque, passing through saffron fields and the historic ruins of Avantipura.

Afternoon:

Pahalgam Exploration: Explore the main town of Pahalgam and the scenic Lidder River.

Optional Sightseeing (Extra Cab): For further exploration of Aru Valley, Betaab Valley, and Chandanwari, you will need to hire a local cab from the Pahalgam taxi union as outside cabs are not permitted.

Local Cab Rate (Pahalgam): Approximately ₹1,500 - ₹2,500 for a visit to Aru, Betaab, and Chandanwari.

Evening:

Departure: After your sightseeing, your cab will transfer you directly to the Srinagar Airport for your return journey, filled with memories of Kashmir's stunning beauty.
